Finishing Silks

SheerMineral Finishing Silks are sheer, silken powders to really 'finish' your look with a smooth, matte touch. They will help aid in oil absorbtion and ensure long wearing makeup.

Our Finishing Silks work with any of our foundation shades and are able to be blended with any of our Pure Foundations for a lighter coverage foundation.

How to apply your SheerMineral Finishing Silk

I like to use my Finishing Silk with my evening or going out makeup. It gives a more polished, 'madeup' look.

For use as a Face Powder: I like to use a big, soft, natural bristle brush for application. Others like to use a foundation buff brush or a powder puff.

With the jar lid on, tip the jar upside down then back the right way again. This releases some powder onto the sifter.
Take the lid off and swirl the tips of the bristles in the powder to pick up some pigment.
Gently tap off excess pigment on edge of the jar.
Turn your brush upside down and tap the bottom of the handle on a firm surface, like the bathroom benchtop. This helps to disperse the pigments evenly thoughout the bristles.
Using even strokes, brush over your face dusting off any excess. Ensure you finish applying your Finishing Silk with downward strokes following the direction of the fine facial hair.

To lighten your Pure Foundation powder: Simply blend the two powders together well, until the desired foundation result is acheived. Apply your foundation as usual.
